For Christmas, schedules are the same, 10 am – 12 pm, some coffeeshops in the Red Light are open 7 am or 8 am (Central Coffeeshop Prins Hendrikkade 89).
On January 1, it’s roughly the same times but you will find your happiness even if you are early, enjoy !!!

If you find yourself in Amsterdam for New Year’s Eve, you’re on a great stay. Leidseplein, Dam Square, Rembrandtplein Nieuwmarkt are good places to see fireworks organized, but better get there early to get a good seat.
